Areas of Care

I offer compassionate pastoral counseling for individuals navigating emotional pain, spiritual wounds, difficult transitions, and seasons of uncertainty.

Counseling is tailored to each person’s story and may include emotional support, spiritual reflection, trauma-informed approach, boundary work, grief processing, and space for honest conversation without judgment or pressure.

Spiritual Abuse & Religious Trauma

For individuals recovering from harmful church experiences, shame-based environments, coercive leadership, fear, or spiritual manipulation.

This may include:

  • difficulty trusting yourself

  • anxiety or hypervigilance

  • fear surrounding faith or God

  • shame and perfectionism

  • grief after leaving a faith community

  • confusion surrounding identity or belonging

Faith & Spiritual Questions

A compassionate space for individuals wrestling with doubt, spiritual confusion, deconstruction, unanswered questions, or the painful tension between faith and lived experience.

For some, these questions arise after difficult church experiences or spiritual wounds. For others, they emerge during seasons of grief, transition, uncertainty, or emotional exhaustion. Whatever the reason, questioning does not make you weak, faithless, or beyond hope.

This may include:

  • fear, guilt, or anxiety surrounding faith

  • uncertainty about beliefs or spiritual identity

  • difficulty trusting religious institutions or leaders

  • confusion after harmful spiritual experiences

  • tension between personal experiences and religious expectations

  • grief related to changing beliefs or lost community

  • a desire to reconnect with faith in healthier ways

Pastoral Counseling & Support

Pastoral counseling provides space to process life’s challenges with honesty, reflection, emotional support, and spiritual care when desired. While some people seek counseling for specific spiritual wounds or questions, others simply need a safe and supportive place to navigate the weight of everyday life and the emotional burdens they carry.

This may include:

  • anxiety, stress, or emotional exhaustion

  • grief and loss

  • relationship struggles or family conflict

  • life transitions and uncertainty

  • burnout and overwhelm

  • struggles with shame, self-worth, or perfectionism

  • emotional support during difficult seasons

  • questions surrounding identity, purpose, or direction
